Code Storm Asia is SourceHive’s regional hackathon movement spotlighting the next wave of developers, AI builders, and technical founders across Asia’s fastest-growing tech ecosystems.

By bringing emerging talent together under one regional banner, Code Storm Asia creates a platform for builders across countries to compete, collaborate, and showcase what Asia’s developer community can create.

Each edition takes place in a different country, highlighting local talent while connecting them to a growing regional network of innovators.

The first edition launches in Islamabad, Pakistan in 2026.

A three-day, no-nonsense tech sprint where student developers, emerging engineers, and fearless coders come together to build something real and fast.

Participants will form teams to design, build, and ship working software or AI-driven solutions under intense time pressure. The goal isn’t talk, slides, or theory.

The goal is simple: build a working product.

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply from both Bachelor's and Master's programs, alongside university students and early-career developers looking to test their skills in a real build environment.

Expect long hours, fast iterations, mentor guidance, and the kind of collaborative chaos that only happens when builders are given a challenge worth solving.
